I was scared when I
I was scared when I filled it and felt how heavy it was. I had read previous reviews that stated “the weight was distributed to my hips,” but I thought “there is no way THIS amount of weight…” I put the pack on and really couldn’t believe it. I was planning on a 6 mile hike where I clearly wouldn’t need THAT much water but I thought it would be a good trial to see if the weight truly stayed ‘hidden’ past my kitchen. IT DID. I mean, I am so happy that my need for more water than my husband can now be carried without the ‘ I told you so ‘ of carrying it. This bag is a game changer for me for me. I do wish it had some sort of pocket on the front for a phone which is my GPS and camera for hikes so I did purchase an attachment pocket for that because the pack is so great in everything else…large sections for lunch or gear and small pockets for EPI pens, stuffable outerwear etc.

The suspension is so comfortable,
The suspension is so comfortable, I tried another brand of hydration pack and was so glad to come back to Camelbak, really it’s the best and if you’re a woman and have to have a pack designed for a woman’s frame, this is the answer.

If you are already a member of the Camelbak family, this pack will be a welcome addition to your collection with the all-important shift of the center of gravity to the lower back especially for those in the mountain bike community. If you're also considering comparable packs from Osprey, you may have tough decision to make.

Purchased this for my wife after she complained about the weight of the hydration pack on her shoulders. The LR restraint helps hold the weight on your hips and she loves it!
