CamelBak has partnered with Leslie Kirchhoff of Disco Cubes to create some eclectic, homemade cocktail recipes to enjoy anytime, anywhere.
- 2 oz Whiskey
- 4 oz Ginger Beer, or other sparkling soda of choice (I love Kimino’s Ume Sparkling Juice)
- Sage, for garnish (or other fresh herbs)
Build the drink in the CamelBak Horizon Tumbler over ice. Gather your herbs, give them a quick slap against your hand to release the oils, then nestle into your drink. If you’re feeling adventurous, grab a flame and briefly singe the tips of the herbs before adding to your drink for a smoky herbal aroma.

Leslie Kirchhoff is an ice cube innovator, cocktail consultant, photographer and DJ, whose multi-disciplinary magic extends from the pages of Vogue to packed dance floors across the globe and beyond. Having sampled some of the world’s most innovative mixology in her travels as a DJ, Leslie noticed a distinct lack of creative attention being paid to the cocktail’s arguable centerpiece – the ice cube. What began as a series of arty ice experiments in her tiny New York kitchen grew into a passionate affair with all things frozen and a thriving business at the intersection of art, science and entertaining.
